On Saturday 27 November Highgate Harriers won the Fraternity Cup cross country race at Trent Park. In the cold wind, over a new course, the first to set off ahead of the 215 finishers were Ash Harrell and Robel Bahelbi, who opened up a lead after the first small lap. In the race, founded 88 years ago, three runners went clear after that, all from the winning Highgate team. In the second large lap, well-spaced out by wide margins, were Ash Harrell, the eventual winner in 26:35, Robel Bahelbi, who finished second in 27:29, and Sean Renfer, who finished third in 28:07, which all helped make it a good Highgate win. Roger Poolman finished 5th (28.21), Lewis Greaves 7th (28.39) and in 42nd place overall, but the over-50 winner, was Alex Davidson (32:15).

The first three teams were: 1, Highgate Harriers, 2, Victoria Park & Tower Hamlets and 3, London Heathside.
