Terry Fawden, who won the Middlesex Junior cross country Championships for Highgate and also in the top 10 in the Junior National one year, has been running very well for Cambridge University in the States. In two good 3000m steeplechases, he came 2nd in the Cambridge & Oxford Universities' against Harvard & Yale in 9:13.60 on the 8th of April and, on the 15th of April ran a personal best when winning a steeplechase in a time of 9:6.94 in New York.
