In the London Big Half Marathon on Sunday Jacob Allan, finished 4th of those entered as club runners and non-elite, in the huge field (faster than several of the elite runners). his personal best time was 1hr 5min 30 sec beating his listed PB of 72 min 47 sec that he achieved in 2014. Allen who had been injured earlier in the year is coming back to form for the road relay & cross-country season. Two other Highgate Harriers who impressed were also doing personal best times. Sean Renfer who ran 1:08.40 & Rob Wilson who did 1:08.42. They both beat their personal best times for the half marathon, that they had done in the Paddock Wood half marathon in March earlier this year.
