In the London Mini Marathon, Highgate Harrier Thomas Chadwick, gained 3rd place overall, in the very well contested event. Representing Camden, he was the first London teenager to finish in the large field.
In the London Marathon itself, that attracted over 50,000 runners Highgate Harrier 'Star' Alex Lepretre, ran his second fastest marathon (his best 2:15.01 last year), but this year in more windy conditions, he achieved a higher position of 12th in the race. His time was 2:15.34.
