Dominic Ogbechie, was 7th in the Olympic high jump trials out of 13 finalists and, equalled his season's best of 2.13, which he had previously done when he qualified for the European Junior Championships. In the senior event at Manchester on 26 June in the Muller Games and Olympic trials the winner was senior Tom Gale of Team Bath with 2.24.
