Rebecca Johnson of Highgate Harriers was the first woman in the Battersea Park RunThrough 10k on 22 October, with a time of 34:28, and finishing 2 mins 30 sec ahead of the next woman in the race, Catherine Kandie of Kent AC.
At the Serpentine Last Friday of the Month 5k, Harry Allan also from Highgate, finished second out of 220 runners in 15:24, only 3 sec behind the winner Ollie Garrod of South London Harriers. Tom Cowling came 14th in 17:19 and Jake Billingham 19th in 17:44.
The Highgate Harriers Under 13's boys showed great promise, coming fifth in the Southern Cross Country Relay Championships at Wormwood Scrubs on 22nd October.
It is always good to see that 'great' organiser and ex international Ben Noad out running. He is the current President of Highgate Harriers, and he ran 27:14 in the Bath Skyline parkrun.
