180 runners competed on the road, at Battersea, in the British Masters 5k Road Championships on 4th December. The best Highgate result was Duncan Burbidge who, as an M50, came in 36th overall in 16:57. Ex-Highgate Harrier, now 44, Andrew Aitken was 46th in 17:24; Shane Snow, one of Highgate Harrier's best distance runners in the 1990's and, now an M55, was 60th in 17:51; and Nadi Jahangiri (M60) was 123rd in 20:37.
