Older members of Highgate Harriers may remember George Harrison, who died earlier this year. George coached more than a hundred international athletes, including many from Highgate Harriers where he was a member until the early 80s.
A memorial event is being held for him at the Woolham Playing Fields, St Albans School, 162 Harpenden Road, St Albans AL3 6BZ on Wednesday 23rd August, 2pm-4pm. It would be great if as many athletes who knew George could know about the event, so please use your networks!
