On Saturday the' 6th of April, at wind blown Sutton Park, Sutton Coldfield, Highgate Harriers came 5th in the National Women's six stage road relay. They finished ahead of two of the best women's clubs in the country Winchester & Aldershot Farnham and District 6th and 7th respectively, out of the 45 starting club teams. There were 4 short stages and two long one's to be negotiated. Rebecca Johnson ran 30:26 on the first long leg, which brought her in 4th in the 4th fastest long leg time of the day out of all the clubs. Then  on leg 2 was Hannah Viner, back from injury to blast out a time of 17:43. That took her into 2nd place in the 4th fastest short leg of the day. Then came Yasmin Goater, also a reliable runner, who held the position of 2nd.On leg 4 Jemima Renfer ran a soli time of 33:46 and Highgate were then in 6th place, Nicole Edmunds, 25, who works for he BBC, held her place in sixth and, past over to Ashley-Scott Wilson, who was coming back to form, taking Highgate up to their finishing position of 5th.

Thames Valley Harriers were the first team in 2:12.46 and Highgate recorded  2:18.40.
