On Sunday, eleven valiant Highgate Harriers took to the streets of Berlin for the fifty-first edition of the Berlin Marathon. There was much talk in the run-up to the race of Sebastian Sawe of Kenya, the eventual winner, going for a world record, but with the conditions making it the hottest ever Berlin Marathon, the race became a battle not just against the distance but the heat and humidity.
A superb effort from all our runners who took part. Hup Das Tor!
