Highgate Harriers' women's team delivered a strong performance at the London Cross Country Championships, competing on our home course at Parliament Hill this past Saturday.
It was a great day for our London running club, with 11 women representing Highgate. The team secured a 9th place overall finish, with eight runners placing in the top 100. Kaitlyn Johnson had a particularly impressive day, finishing 13th out of 271 runners.
In a fantastic sign of the growing popularity of the Highgate Harriers women’s XC programme, three of our runners were competing in their first ever race for the club!
The women will next take on Horsenden Hill in the second Met League fixture this coming Saturday.
