In the London Indoor Games on the 17th and 18th of January, at Lee Valley recently, Highgate Harriers athletes were sharpening themselves for the Summer season ahead. Remy Weinbrecht, coached by Ex- Olympian Greg Richards, did several personal best indoor performances. In the 60m hurdles 8.71; Pole vaulting 4.16 and shot of 13.38. and Dominic Ogbechie, who is a National class high jumper, did a personal best 60m of 6.93 and a long jump of 7.02. An impressive 400 time indoors was done by Sam Amdor of 53.25
Anna Koshevya, a new name with the club, had several good personal best performances which included 59.4 400m as well as a 26.93 200 PB. Zavier Achiampong did a triple jump of 13.78. which was notable because he was 2nd in the Final of the event and will be useful in Southern Leagues in the Summer.
