Three Over 60's athletes ran well in the British Masters Indoor Championships at Lee Valley Indoor track, on the 21st/22nd of February. There was one medallist for the club on the day and that was Roy Head (61), coached by Andre Spaccatrosi. He was 3rd in the M60 400m Final in 1:00.86. not far short of what he has done outdoors of 59.9.
Neil Middleton, in the Final of the M60 60m ran 8.29 but, ran his heat in 8.25, and Barbara Poncia., coached by Alima Diabate, ran 36.50 for her 200..It was her best by 2 seconds. M45 runner Ben Gritz ran a good 60m in 7.68 and a 200 in 25.03.
