Highgate Harriers & Mornington Chasers (composite), who won their first match, continued to gain momentum in the Southern League Division 3 North London. In their match at Parliament Hill Fields, they won their second match, on the 21st of June with 412 match points, with last year's big rivals Serpentine RC 2nd with 244 match points. There were many wins for the team. Remy Weinbrecht was outstanding with his win in the 'A' discus with 37'44 and with his shot putt of 13'0m. In the Womens events Bronwen Reed, the one competitor for Highgate in the recent UK Championships, won the 'A' 1500 in 4:43 and the 'B' was won by Leon Delvendal in 4:52,00. Bronwen also won the 'A' 200 in 25.7.
The amazing Over 55 runner Karina Harris, won the 'A' 5000 for Highgate in 18:23,53. Rosse Kirwan won the 800 'A' in 2:22.55 and Karina Kelly won the 'A' 1500 steeplechase in 5:36.4. Highgate won the mixed relay in the 4x400 in 3:40.69.
