Sonny Allen, running in her very first International race, was 6th of 18 in the European (Under 18) 3000m Final in Studio Gupbaldi, in Rieti, Italy, on the 16th of July.
She is still in the bottom of he age group and can look forward to some great international runs in the future. Her time in Italy was 9:34;50 and she finished just ahead of Ireland's Ava Colereavy (9:37.25) The winner was Aime Decrausaz of Switzerland in 9:06.0.
