Highgate Harriers take the welfare of our Young Athletes seriously and have two dedicated Child Welfare Officers.

If you have any issues or concerns, please contact either of the individuals listed below in the strictest confidence. Both Lucy and James hold the NSPCC Child Protection in Sport qualification and have completed the England Athletics online Safeguarding course.

All coaches for Young Athletes are UKA qualified and hold current DBS checks, with many having attended the UKA-recognized Safeguarding Children course. Highgate Harriers have Codes of Conduct for Athletes, Coaches, and Parents; please make sure you read and adhere to these Codes, which are available on our website.
